Merit awards were given to 10 students of 10 government primary schools of 9 Fardabad Union of Bancharampur Upazila of Brahmanbaria under the slogan 'Friends of Education and Humanity'. At the same time awards are given to the distinguished persons who have contributed to the glory of the Union.

On the morning of November 11 (Saturday), about 100 students of 10 primary government schools of the Union, under the initiative of "Bandhu Foundation-Fordabad". Roshan Alam attended the college examination. A total of 10 students including 1st, 2nd, 3rd and next 7 on merit basis are given scholarship cash after announcing the results immediately. Students who obtained GPA-5 in ASC examination 2023 from Fardabad village were felicitated.

Former Chairman of Dhaka University Geology Department and Chief Advisor of Bandhu Foundation Professor Dr. Rashedul Islam Rashed, chairman of Fardabad Union Parishad, was present as the chief guest in the program presided over by ASM Obaid Ullah.

Present as a special guest - Fardabad Madrasa Akbar Al-Ulum Alim Madrasa Managing Committee President Md. Delwar Hossain, Amjad Hossain Sajal, Bancharampur upazila correspondent of Dainik Samakal newspaper, Dr. Roshan Alam College Acting Principal Shafiqul Islam, Fardabad Madrasa Akbar Al-Ulum Alim Madrasa Principal Mokhlesur Rahman, Purbhati Captain AB Tajul Islam High School Principal Md. Amir Hossain, Bancharampur upazila representative of daily our economy journalist Faisal Ahmed Khan.

One school from 10 government primary schools of the union was declared Best School-2023 and one teacher was awarded as Best Teacher-2023. Jalal Uddin was also felicitated at the event as a meritorious student of the village was recommended in the 41st BCS education cadre.

This year, the director of the National Nose, Ear and Throat Institute, Prof. Dr. Md. Zakaria Sarkar and AKM Mohsin Sarkar, former Country Manager, Bangladesh-based Saudi Arabian Airlines, were honored for their special contribution to the education sector.

This year two journalists were honored in the Journalism Hall. Amjad Hossain Sajal, Bancharampur correspondent of Dainik Samakal, and Faisal Ahmed Khan, Bancharampur correspondent of Dainik Amer Ekhonto, journalist, were awarded in this category.

The speakers said that this organization named 'Bandhu Foundation-Fordabad', established since 2015, has been playing an extraordinary role in education and humanity since its inception.

They said in the speech, "It is not enough to be good students, but everyone should be patriotic." The speakers advised the primary school students to take an oath not to involve themselves in any bad activities from today. They also advise students not to get addicted to mobile phones. Speakers of the students said, you have to be established in such a way that people can be proud of you.

Interesting event was Dr. Roshan Alam College 1st year vs 2nd year direct quiz competition, so that 1st year wins.

Bandhu Foundation General Secretary Borhan Uddin Risel, Vice President Irshad Ullah Moni, Ariful Islam Shamim, Advisory Council ATM Ikram Ullah Tipu, Amirul Islam Mahalam, Joint General Secretary Ekram Hossain, Nahid, Delwar, all members of Jihad Bandhu Foundation were present.

The program was conducted by the advisor of Bandhu Foundation and Dr. Roshan Alam College Professor Ferdous Mia and Bandhu Foundation Founder President Iqbal Mahmud Sujan.
