Nahida Akhter was selected as the ICC Woman's Cricketer of the Month in November. She won this award as the first woman cricketer of Bangladesh. The left-arm spinner won the award beating teammate Farzana Haque and Pakistan's Sadia Iqbal.

Tigress spinner Nahida Akhtar won the ICC Player of the Month award as the first Bangladeshi woman cricketer. She beat national teammate Farzana Haque and Pakistan's Sadia Iqbal in the Player of the Month race.

In a press release on Monday (December 11), the ICC announced the man's and women's players of the month for November. Apart from Nahida Akhtar, Australia's Travis Head, the hero of the last ODI World Cup final, won the man's cricket man of the month award.

Bangladesh woman's team created history by winning the T20 series against Pakistan women's team last August. After this, Bangladesh girls won the ODI series against the same opponent in November. Where Nahida Akhtar had a big contribution.

Bangladesh woman's team beat Pakistan women's team by 2-1. Where Nahida won the series best award by taking 7 wickets. His bowling average was just 14.

Nahida, excited for Massera, said in an immediate response, "This is a moment of celebration."
