A police team arrested two alleged drug peddlers with 10 kilograms of ganja from Belpukur area in the metropolis on Sunday
morning.
The arrested persons are identified as Shamim Reza, 30, son of Anarul Islam, and Russel Ali, 22, son of Abdul Matin. Both of them are the residents of Shibganj Upazila in Chapainawabganj district.
On a tip-off, a detective branch police team nabbed them and seized the ganja after searching a Rajshahi bound truck around 10.30 am.
Later, the arrested persons along with the seized contraband goods were handed over to the police after filing a case with Belpukur Police Station in this connection.
