The next central councils of Bangladesh Chhatra League, Jubo Mohila League and Bangladesh Mohila Awami League is likey to be held in October.
Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader, also the Road Transport and Bridges Minister, came up with the information at a briefing before a joint meeting of the Awami League's presidium, secretariat level leaders, and members of its associate bodies at Bangabandhu Avenue in Dhaka on Monday.
He said: "No specific date for holding the councils are fixed. The date will be fixed once Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina returns home."
He urged party fellows concerned to take preparation to make the council a success.
